FORT WORTH, Texas — United Sports Technologies (UST) announces that its exclusive distributor for the premium performance ACCRA graphite shafts — Professional Golf Management Co. (PGMC) — has retained Bill Hardwick to represent the ACCRA line of products in Great Britain and mainland Europe.
Hardwick joins Accra Golf as exclusive agent for all accounts in Great Britain and mainland Europe and he will be responsible for all sales and customer service for the company. Hardwick will be looking to expand ACCRA’s presence through a select network of the very best club making facilities. Distributed by PGMC, Accra premium graphite shafts are currently available through a number of excellent dealers across Europe, including Fatboy Golf of London, England; Tour Sticks of Sweden; JWP Golf of Germany and Soncini Golf of Milan, Italy.
“The ACCRA product line has certainly created a ‘buzz’ in the European golf community and I look forward to the opportunity to make this shaft available to golfers throughout Europe,” says Hardwick, a competitive member of the Senior European PGA Tour. “The Accra shaft line has been one of the most popular graphite shafts on the PGA Tour in 2004 and has also experienced victories on the European Tour. With the addition of several new options to the line, the Accra has become a major force in the shaft industry. I look forward to being a part of the ACCRA Team.”
PGMC Co-owner Gawain Robertson explains that Hardwick’s success on Tour has provided him with a vast knowledge of the ‘grass roots’ golf industry throughout Europe and PGMC expects his experience to aid in the development in the European market.
“Bill’s extensive shaft knowledge and understanding of various shaft models playability and performance characteristics will be of extreme value to the ACCRA team,” adds Dave Makarucha, fellow co-owner of PGMC.
