UST Shafts Seize Victory on World Tours

FORT WORTH, Texas — From Singapore to Tulsa, graphite shafts designed and manufactured by United Sports Technologies (UST®) delivered unparalleled accuracy and consistency, all of which were key in this weekend’s international victories at the Canadian Open on the PGA Tour, the John Q. Hammons Hotel Classic on the LPGA Tour and the Barclay’s Singapore Open on the Asian Tour.

On the PGA Tour, this year’s champion at the Canadian Open earned his 12th career victory playing a Srixon driver custom fit with a UST Proforce 65 shaft. The winner of the John Q. Hammons Hotel Classic in Tulsa played a PING Rapture driver with the stock TFC 909D graphite shaft by UST, and this year’s champion at the Barclay’s Singapore Open successfully defended his title playing a Titleist 905R driver with a UST Proforce V2 shaft.

The V2’s low torque design provides the power and control needed for today’s 400cc to 460cc heads. Also, because the low-torque V2 prevents clubheads from twisting open on impact, the V2 increases the amount of back spin imparted onto the ball and enhances shot dispersion.
